Our Projects
Helping Australians in times of need
For A Better
Australia
At Malak Foundation, we are committed to addressing hardship in ways that are practical, compassionate, and grounded in community connection.
Homelessness and disadvantage are complex issues with many causes, but our projects are designed to meet people where they are. Whoever you are, whatever your story, you are welcome because every person deserves care, dignity, and the chance to belong.
Collaborative
We partner with other community services already doing great work.
Human
Centred
Our focus is on essentials that meet immediate needs.
Practical
Every interaction is about restoring dignity, not just handing over goods.
Current Projects

Homeless Hub and The Peoples Pantry aren’t just projects, they’re lifelines, places where full plates and open hands remind us what community really means.

"Homelessness is more than the absence of a home, it’s the loss of safety, dignity, and stability. Homeless Hub exists to bridge that gap, meeting people where they are with practical help and pathways forward."
Homeless Hub
Homeless Hub is about creating access points for people in crisis. We bring together food, clothing, and services into one connected response because homelessness can’t be solved with a single handout, it takes consistent care and connection.

Project Goals
Homeless Hub will begin in Brisbane, focused on street level outreach and community events where individuals can access what they need all in one place. As the project grows, our aim is to expand into other communities across Australia.
We aim to:
1.
Ensure people experiencing homelessness have reliable access to food, clothing, and hygiene supplies.
2.
Provide referral pathways to shelters, health services, and longer-term support.
3.
Create a safe and welcoming space that reduces stigma and increases trust.
4.
Connect volunteers, donors, and partner organisations directly to those who need it most.
"A meal is more than food, it’s comfort, care, and connection. The Peoples Pantry exists to serve nutritious meals while creating a safe and welcoming space where no one feels forgotten."

The Peoples Pantry
The Peoples Pantry is designed to do more than feed people. It’s about building a table where everyone belongs. Each meal served helps ease the pressures of daily life, while also giving people the chance to connect with volunteers, services, and one another.
Project Goals
Rising living costs mean many families and individuals are skipping meals or going without proper nutrition. By opening our doors locally first, we can respond quickly to this growing food insecurity while building a model that can be expanded into other communities as the project grows.
We aim to:
1.
Provide consistent access to nutritious meals for individuals and families in need.
2.
Reduce food insecurity and the daily stress of choosing between bills and groceries.
3.
Create a supportive environment that encourages trust, connection, and inclusion.
4.
Partner with food suppliers, cafes, and businesses to make the project sustainable long-term.
Two projects, one vision:
restoring dignity,
building hope,
Together.
