How It All Started
Malak Foundation was founded by Mostafa Muhsain in 2025 after working with a small local charity service supporting people experiencing homelessness. It was there that the idea took shape, through first-hand experience in grassroots work and a clear view of both the impact and the limitations small services face on the ground.

While the need was obvious, so were the barriers, inconsistent support, limited funds, and over stretched systems that often felt out of reach for the people who needed them most. Malak Foundation was created as a response not to replace existing efforts, but to contribute in a way that’s personal, practical, and grounded in dignity.
No Australian facing hardship should be left to struggle alone.
Too often, disadvantage strips people of their dignity, leaving them without the basics that many take for granted. That’s where we step in. Through compassion in action, we aim to provide food, clothing, and practical support that meets immediate needs while also planting the seeds of hope for tomorrow.
But our purpose goes beyond meeting material needs. We hope to build resilience and strengthen the spirit of community. By walking alongside Australians in tough times, we remind them they are seen, valued, and never forgotten.
Every act of kindness, every meal shared, and every hand extended contributes to a larger vision, an Australia where compassion leads, communities are stronger, and every person has the opportunity to thrive.
